just noticed the change before checking the forums :D it looks just weird - they tried to go with a modern simplistic design but somehow it looks childish...

Right, so the logo changed on maps but not the Google app? the fuck??

Their new 4 colored G favicon looks a lot better than the old G icon though.

 

Looks terrible as a bookmark on Chrome, though.

I don't always use Vessel.... but when I do, it's because of Scrapyard Wars.

sans-serif fonts are easier to read, especially on low-res screens like smart watches and to lesser extent phones

I'll miss the "Internet of the early 2000's" feel of the old one.

Now it's just a flat minimalist design like all the others. No originality whatsoever.

Tell that to Fractal Design.
