How is it that OSX is usable, but WX isn't usable?

Because Apple operating system is called: Mac OS.

And Apple themselves decided to call it OS<version number>. And with the big marketing power that Apple has, informed everyone that OSX is Mac OS X.

Microsoft doesn't recognize or mentions anywhere MSX for Windows 10. This is your guys invention, which doesn't even work.

WX specifically doesn't work, because it means Weather.

Not to mention that Sony has a series of "WX" named products.

So, if you say "my WX doesn't work", to means: My Sony car stereo doesn't work.

No to mention that you also have: wxWidgets, wxPython, WX.Net, and more.

So if you say your WX is not working, a developer will think you mean that you have a problem with you wxWidgets GUI library, and hence is a programming question. And wxWidgets is very well known, and existed since 1992, and "wx" is used for the short version of the name of the GUI library, hence the other variation mentioned for the different programming languages.

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

its a piece of hardware for 32 years ago there will be 0 confusion unless you're rip van winkle and took a ten year nap after waking up from the first 2 decades slumbering !

It was sold for about 10 years. I believe woo virtual console has games for it had more controllers than many of its competitors

The joke is that is supposed to "screw with Apple users", but it completly fails to work as I explained in another thread:

MS10, or MSX, means Microsoft 10, and that makes no sense.

WinX, suggests that X is a number to be replace. For example Windows 9x, means Windows 95, and 98.

OSX is used for Apple, because it is Mac OS X the name of the OS. Not Mac OS 10.

It is version 10 yes, but it is presented as "X" not the Romain numeral X or 10, it is just X as in ('ex' in pronunciations )

And it is OSX not APL10.

Therefore, the only people you are screwing aren't Apple, but rather confuse people on this forum.

So, there is no joke. If it is one, it really failed. And if anything, you just showing how you are failing to Apple users, and be laugh at instead of annoying them.

How do you know the X doesnt mean 10?

 

It was just mac OS up until OS 9, then after that, when it got to 10, it became OSX
