Linustechtips Challenge 2.0 !

givingtnt

I think you should look more into it

Ah, so it has something to do with the YT channel, right?

I still haven't been able to get anything to work :/ Maybe @ionbasa could think of something deeper?

not everyone can solve this part.  this is why I said, that you WILL most likely need multiple people to acess the information needed

what did you try exacly ?

Using Encipher it (Desktop version, I assume the web version is the same) I've tried the video IDs and titles of these videos as the decryption password:

and the Techquickie on ARM CPUs

I'm assuming because of your choice of words that it's something to do with the Vessel videos, I'm probably being dumb though

you are on the right track. but if I were you. id take what you see there. and well ya know.  investigate deeper.  don't just scratch the surface of a possibility. I see 5. and only one is right.

It has something to do with the big brother video and LTT's surveillance system. Maybe the names/amount of the servers used or the HDDs?

Security is key. i ill be watching closely.you won't find the server easely this time. and anyway, even there its spread across multiple drives.Once you found it. it wont end here :)good luck !

I'm 99% sure this is talking about their new video surveillance system...

Security is key (=security at their new office is importan).

I'll be watching closely (=all the video feeds that are possible)

You wont find the server easily this time (=not telling everything about it to us).

Spread across multiple drives (=the 9 WD Purple drives they have in their surveillance server)

... Now just to find what part of it is the key...

I FUCKING SOLVED IT!!! Well partly... The solved text is yet another riddle.

Sigh.

It was said in the second paragraph (Once you found it. it wont end here), so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. sigh.

Well, I tried using the S/N and MDL Number, so what else is there? Cant see it clearly on my monitor due to youtube compression, even on 1080p :(

That was bullshit. The key wasn't actually anything on the hard drives, but the total number of WD Purples in the system.

The key is:

9

It decrypts to another riddle which reads:

my first is allways late

my second is what my first is
my third is what we all ''just'' want
my whole ends with .hol.es

Also, always was spelled incorrectly  .

No worries.

Now some things that may pertain to the new riddle:

my first is allways late

my second is what my first is

my third is what we all ''just'' want

my whole ends with .hol.es

  • ".hol.es" is a domain owned by a hosting company which can be found here: http://www.hol.es/
  • The riddle probably solves to be the subdomain of that hosting company, which should lead to a webpage
  • .es is the TLD country code for Spain and is commonly used for spanish speaking webpages.

How the hell did you get that so fast?

Damn you're good, mind sharing what the answers were?

It has something to do with WAN show. You'll find a tongue and cheek reference to a phrase which Twitch chat came up with.
