Best GPU for max settings for 1080p?

Nvidia just released the GTX 950 targeted at 1080p at medium to high settings. I'm wondering what you guys and gals think is the best GPU on the market for playing games at max settings including MSAA for 1080P gaming! I personally would assume that the GTX 970 would do the job but I could be wrong. I'm still using a GTX 770.

Gaming PC specs:

i7 4770K @ 4.7GHz

ASUS Maximus VII Hero

GTX 770 4GB

Thanks

Well the titan x would be the absolute best.

980Ti*** because of better coolers therefore better clocks.

Sig under construction.

980ti

My Build: i7-4790K, 212 Evo, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB DDR3-1600, Intel 730 240GB SSD, WD Blue 1TB, EVGA GTX 980Ti ACX 2.0, NZXT H440 Blue/Black, EVGA 650W 80+Gold.

Most of the time, it's not the computer, it's the person using it.

Depends they perform very similar. Pricing is the big difference depending on where you live. here in canada and america they are the same price. 390 performs better by a bit

Because of a good 390 overclocked and a bad 970 overclock....his more recent comparison video with the Sapphire 390 nitro is a better look since they both are lower overclocks.

First build every: Intel Core i7 4790K, Asus Z97-A/USB 3.1 motherboard, Kingston HyperX FURY 1866 2x8 16GB Kit, Gigabyte Windforce GTX 970 G1 Gaming, Corsair Obsidian 450D Black ATX Mid Tower, Samsung 850 EVO 250GB & 3TB Toshiba HDD, EVGA SuperNOVA 750W G2, Corsair H100i GTX 240mm, Gigabyte Bluetooth 4.0/Wifi Card, Logitech G700S. Running on Windows 10

Surface Pro 3: i5 4300U with 8GB of ram and 256GB SSD. Running Windows 10 Pro

I usually don't turn MSAA on with my 970 since it'll often drop me below 60 fps at ultra in the harder to run games like GTA V, Dragon Age Inquisition, and Far Cry 4. In Witcher 3 I run mostly high settings on my 970 with textures and water quality on ultra, and with hairworks off. It doesn't quite stay locked to 60 fps, but is there most of the time. But I run at a boost clock of 1367 MHz on TWC3 and a boost of 1418 MHz on all other games; my 970 is the EVGA SC ACX 2.0 which is known to not overclock much beyond the factory overclock it comes with, at least by what I found after asking around on the EVGA forums.
