Where are the 144hz 1080p IPS G-sync Panels?

Youre probably right about that Mid2016 estimate.

If the price is below 400$ it will be a fucking WIN for so many people tho.

I cant imagine them going too high with it, and the smaller size is cheaper to make too.

Personally, im waiting for the 35" ones to drop in price. The resolution doesnt bother me - you can mitigate it with VSR/DSR. You cannot fake 144hz + VRR smoothness or 21:9 UMMERSION tho.

Yeah the 35" BenQ is stupidly priced right now at like $1000  Hopefully Acer does us all a favour and releases the freesync one at like $650 max lol, but I don't expect the g sync one to be that low :(

As for the 30" ones when they arrive, I hope they can get down to around $500 as well, with the current price of the 60Hz 29" 2560x1080 monitors being around $300-400 I doubt we will see a 144Hz one dropping for $400 next year :( But if it does that would be amazing

IPS panels can't go higher than 75 Hz in refresh rate, that's why most gaming monitors are TN panels, because they support high refresh rate. Simple as that, you have to let something go to get something else.

why should gamers have to compromise. plus 1080 gsync ips 144hz would sell like hot cakes
