Lower Fps

i recently built my new computer and i am getting lower frame rate than people with worse computers than mine... i have installed all of the drivers that i can install and i need some help, here are my specs for my new build. 

 

Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor

A-Data XPG V2 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

Asus H81M-D PLUS Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

2x Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

MSI Radeon R9 380 4GB Video Card

Specific games and fps in those games would help.

Well i only play like 3 games so

 

 

Rocket league: 60Fps @ max settings because of fps cap 45fps without the frame cap

counterstrike: 120-130 fps at max settings

h1z1: 30-40 fps at medium settings

your cs fps is pretty "correct", its hard for a dual core get the usual 200+fps...
but the others, i dont know, sorry :/

well as far as Rocket League goes..you really shouldve read the system specs before buying your parts [im assuming you bought that whole system brand new, at once]

is what the MB supports, you say you are using 1866 memory.

 

So right there it's having to throttle back the memory to run correctly, that's an issue.

ie: XMP allowing 1866/2133/2400 when the board "officially supports" only 1066/1333/1600Mhz.


Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Yep, Understood when I replied.

The same spec page also states that If any memory is used that is higher it will only run at 1600 max.

***** Due to Intel® chipset limitation, DDR3 1600 MHz and higher memory modules on XMP mode will run at the maximum transfer rate of DDR3 1600 Mhz.
