G2A's Customer Support are either 'White' Hats trying to make the site look bad for political reasons or they just are not very

fluent in English - either way their support often times only make matters worse.

"G2aCOMLIMIT" will be associated with every key purchase you make.

It's sloppy for "G2A.com Limited."

That's how many web companies make their money these days. Offer a 1 month trial and count on you forgetting to turn it off to profit on it.

Except G2A prevents you from unsubscribing the day before the charge, it's extra scummy.

Don't feel like spending 30 minutes on the phone and have a chargeback use notice added to my dossier; for a few bucks.

Thats true for almost any site including many that LMG advertises... It's technically not a scam, when I used them for about 8 months I openly knew about the 1 month free to paid afterwards...

For example skillshare has the pay a small fee for 2 months in hopes you forget and get auto billed (or like and keep), chances are you'll not notice it, if you do you'll try using them again, or request a refund. In skillshares ToS actually states no refunds.

As long as G2A was open about recurring billing (they are) it's not a scam, just OP forgot about it.

What's the difference? Surely you would be able to refund fraudulent charges on both?

Edit: WTF this is a 2015 thread....

That's an F in the profile pic

On credit cards it's far easier to get refunds than on debit cards. In this case it wasn't fraudulent, so chances are the OP wouldn't get a refund on debit, but on credit they would instantly if they asked.
