network problem !!

scottie612

I have a netgear 108 mbps router (model #: wgt624 v3)

with an at&t ISP

I try to plug an ethernet cord into my PC from my router and I get an error message Error 651

also i plug my xbox in to my router with an ethernet cord and it says i need to port forward or turn on UPnp on my router.

I did both of those.

Do i need a new Router or new isp or What ?

Thank you for your feed back.

Short of telling you to "Google it" and reset everything...

Is this a new installation?

Has it ever worked?

(And just because I've had people do this to me before...Was this router setup new out of the box, or was used and not reset when setup at your place?)

Is WiFi OK & only wired is acting up?

What OS are you using on the PC?

Going to assume DSL...so Modem model?
