What resolution do you use?

Air tree

My desktop is running 2 1920x1080. My laptop is on 1366x768. Voted for the 1920x1080 since it's what I primarily use.

Asus X550CA-DB51: 15.6" @ 1366x768, i5-3337U @1.8, 8gb RAM, Intel 4000 Graphics, 750gb HDD

1920x1080 on a 23" Asus PA238Q monitor.

I will be using this monitor and resolution for the coming years, atleast until we can run 4K of 1-2 graphics cards and get stable 60+ FPS.

| GPU: GT 650M | CPU: i5-3210M | Excuse my language, sometimes I can be pretty vulgar.

xD I sat down one day and memorised it to 13 because after that it starts to become a little bit too random.

3.141592653458979323

^ends as 3.1415926535 on most standard calculators.

That resolution knowledge is very impressive :P I guess you're either a numbers person or you're not.

if you're into that, graham's number, i'm working on the 2nd tower/set atm hehehe.

g1 is 4,765,998,228,116,875

i'm currently on 143,536,972,910,366,659,765,625 and still have to add 4765998228116875 x 4765998228000000 into that xD

on the side note 1080p, stuck on a single monitor atm :(

Check out the build: Used to be Obot, now Lilith

Asus PA248Q 1080x1200 ftw! :D

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

I'm going to get a dell U2312HM. 1080p until 1440p is the mainstream in 1-2 years time.

Hi there,

3 x (2560 x 1440p).

I don't think 1440p is getting mainstream ever.

It seems that the next mainstream after 1080p would be 2160p.

Regards

You think 4k res is going to be mainstream before 1440p? that would be very odd in my opinion.

Yes.

Here you have the intel's roadmap for mainstream resolutions.

Nobody's worried about 1440p right now. The next step is 4k.

Read you guys

We still need graphics cards that can pull such high resolutions, and even now it takes a pretty strong gpu to pull games at high settings at 2560x1440.

I'm on a bit of an odd setup, 2x1080 and 1x1680x1050 = 5520x1080 total resolution (voted in the 5760x1080 option)

Arch Linux on Samsung 840 EVO 120GB: Startup finished in 1.334s (kernel) + 224ms (userspace) = 1.559s | U mad windoze..?
