How to boost bass in Windows 10?

So, with the inclusion of Windows 10 the bass boost option was taken away and replaced with the pitch shift option, so I'm wondering a way to boost bass in Windows 10 without messing with the rest of the audio too much, all the equalizer settings mess with the vocals way too much for my liking. Any suggestions?

Bass boost options are literally just options that adjust the equalizer. Do you have dedicated sound adapter settings or just the lame Windows sound settings bullshit?

First thing when I get a copy of Windows is to uninstall the default sound driver. I use Microsoft's one instead. Its not got an equaliser but it does have a bass boost enhancement.

By the way the normal software I use alongside Microsoft's drivers, Equaliser APO, does not work in Windows 10

Never actively used software equalizers. Only hardware, with many more sliders. Not sure where to even start.
