I am a 7 hour flight to BC Canada and thats about a $500 plane ticket. And some of this stuff i buy might not make it through the TSA

You don't have to do just that. You can go sightseeing, explore the city, etc. D:

Cloverdale is a bus ride... I probably will go for it though, I'm in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, so it's shouldn't be too hard to get to if there are bus routes.
