i7 4790k or AMD 9370 witch is better for streaming

what is better for streaming quality and all

I have a particular grudge against the FX 9xxx series, they offer almost nothing compared to the 8350 and they were marketed as being competitors to intel 6 cores, it was so pathetic. The 4790k is well, great, a bit expensive but streaming capable CPUs tend to be. Just please don't get that 9370, it's overpriced, even if it was a budget thing and you just couldn't afford the i7 i would recomend a 8350 instead, i see no value on the 9370. But apparently you can afford the i7 so, it's better, in every way, simple as that, Maybe in a year we will be talking AMD options for streaming and editing but right now, Intel has that market locked.

I'm really confused, why is this even a debate? Or a question even? The i7 4790K destroys all FX processors in all applications. Want a boost for streaming? Enable the iGPU and use QuickSync encoding (not that you need to with hyperthreading and all). Even an i5 can give you better streaming performance using QuickSync encoding if you do it right. That's why I can stream Witcher 3 on high settings at 1080p 60fps on my rig (in signature). The 4790K would do even better.

The 9000 series is a joke, and offers the worst price to performance of any CPUs on the market outside of a budget server (and even then I would recommend an 8320/50 since it's the same chip just overclocked balls to the wall.
