I've got a 560Ti, which will move from my main rig to my HTPC-to-be in a few days when I've finished painting my 970 (don't mind my sig, I updated it pre-emptively), and I've also still got a 520 sitting on a shelf, because it's more use as a shelf decoration than it is as a graphics card. So yes, I've still got two Fermi cards, and to be fair, I still really like the 560Ti. It was only with Assassin's Creed Unity coming out last year that I first felt it was starting to lose it against more modern cards, and it still runs pretty much all other games I play on High to Ultra, which I think is quite impressive for a five-year-old mid-range card.

And a Valley Extreme HD run. Sadly I had a run where it scored a great 1370 with the FX 8120 at 4.8GHz... Only issue is, it failed to save, and of course every other time it saves just fine.

I'll be part of the fermi club next week-ish.

 

Only had to pay like $58 outta my own pocket, I got my PayPal cashback reward from buying my 980 TI Matrix, $7.25. So that & my money outta my bank covered it no problem.

 

I was going to buy a ref 470 or 460 hawk, but this is OK too :D

EVGA FTW HC2 GTX 580 1.5GB it cost me 55 pounds as a replacement for my now dead Radeon HD 7770 from XFX.

 

It's an amazingly fast GPU and deserves more credit in later titles.. with an OC it just destroys everything i throw at it even at resolutions nearing 4K.

 

I removed the Block and put on a GELID ICY Vision 2.0 cooler... it's freezing cold lol.cDquep.jpg

My own tuned bios, this starts you at 1088mv and 850mhz stock clocks.

 

1213mv max voltage.

 

 

 

 

Works on any reference 480? Or what?

The bios i posted is a GTX 580 bios, however i can grab a GTX 480 bios off of TPU and tune it for you if you wish.

 

Be careful though 1213mv needs a very beefy air cooled solution and not suitable for long term use on air, i run 1150mv to hold my 960mhz 24/7 OC.

I want a pot so I can LN2 mine in feb :( what pot did you get? something like a raptor 4/slim?

 

But you can just dump the bios via gpu-z and use nibitor, go to tool -> fermi voltage and set a max of like 1.215v or so

 

Past that you're probably looking at hardmods

 

I've already made my 580 soc bios :)
