What is the best 144ms monitor for the money? (CSGO) - (1080p)

Currently i play a whole lot of CSGO with a 60hz monitor. This has been fine for a while but now i am within the top 3 mm ranks (EU), I think maybe it's time to upgrade.

I am looking to buy a 144 hz monitor for csgo. Which one is best for the money and what should i avoid? Here are some examples however when it comes to monitors i don't know what i am doing :P. Or should i just wait until i have enough for a 240hz monitor? Budget - £250 (absolute maximum)

Examples I have found:

You don't need a 240hz monitor

Because he had a hard drive.

If he gets 240fps, why not? :P

Because there is no such thing as a 240Hz monitor, besides the Ezio "not so 240Hz more like 120Hz" fg2421 which isn't actually 240Hz, the only other things which quote over 144Hz are TVs, and they do so for other reasons which aren't relevant, and it isn't the actual refresh rate.

All 1920x1080 144hz monitors are GARABGE TN

THE BEST are the two following:

Its a 550$ eizo foris fg2421 120hz VA, with blackframe insertion which makes it a 240hz monitor with permanently reduced motion blur. (real 240hz retail monitors do not exist)

Thats THE monitor you want if you are serious about CS.

Or 1100$ Acer z35 - 35inch, VA, 2560x1080, 144hz, gsync

Doesnt have motion blur reduction, but has gsync. I think its better for the fov. But it also costs 2x the Eizo monitors price.

That 1ms advertised response time is bullshit... so are all advertised response times, just like advertised contrast ratio...    these companies lie, they lie right to your face.

To make sure you are getting the fastest gaming monitor you can - you need to either pick something with freesync or gsync, or that one unique eizo monitor i mentioned.

And i highly suggest avoiding TN screens; we live in a time where you can find fast monitors that also dont look like crap. You wanted something in the field of "the best"... well here you go. Heres a list of all non-TN gsync/freesync monitors, which are released and soon to be released (with 2 worthy mentions on top that dont have free/gsync):

550$ Eizo fg2421 - 24inch, VA, 1920x1080, 120hz, perma-Lighboost at fake 240hz
1000$ Benq xr3501 - 35inch, VA, 2560x1080, 144hz

350$ LG 29um67 - 29inch, IPS, 2560x1080, 75hz, freesync
550$ LG 34um67 - 34inch, IPS, 2560x1080, 75hz, freesync
1100$ Acer z35 - 35inch, VA, 2560x1080, 144hz, gsync

600$ Asus mg279q - 27inch, IPS, 2560x1440, 90hz, freesync
800$ Asus pg279q - 27inch, IPS, 2560x1440, 144hz, gsync
800$ Acer xb270hu - 27inch, IPS, 2560x1440, 144hz, gsync
