They are all IPS panel monitors that reproduce sharp colors. Some of them are good for gaming as well. Culled from this superb monitor resource. And this page of the top photo editing monitors

Op is no longer a user here

-IPS or VA or their variant panels only. TN panels are ignored and should be avoided anyway.

-All are/should be flicker free too.

-Prices are either known or best estimate in US $.

-All models are either released or are on their way.

-Also accumulating available gsync laptops, listing the display and the cheapest price you can get a new one for. The laptop MUST have "g-sync" in its name.

Its a shame the friggin xr341ck can't be found anywhere

I assume it'll be 'officially' released when the x34 is, because right now it seems only reviewers have it, it is listed on Amazon but never been for sale :/

And @ your missing a g sync monitor mate, did you add the Benq xr3501 by mistake instead of it? It's the Acer XB271HK you're missing

Yes, indeed. Thank you!! ...updated it.

Also, yes the benq xr3501 isnt a gsync or freesync monitor, but it is pretty unique, only of its kind, and fast - so i felt like it should be included on this list.

But if you think otherwise, please tell me. Im not sure if it really should be on this list.

It's 144Hz IPS 2560x1080 35" so it's certainly unique aha

It's your list so up to you ^^ It's super pricey though at $1000 considering it's only 1080 ultra wide and not 1440 :( But it's essentially a Acer Z35 without g sync for $100 less aha, so I guess pricing kind of fits if you look at it that way.

It is pretty overpriced. Considering the same size and resolution with 75hz can be had for half that price. The 144hz variant should had maybe be 700$ max.

Still, if benq doesnt surprise us with an adaptive sync implementation or backlight strobing or something for it at release(cuz it certainly could be strobable), then i`ll remove it from this list.... probably.

Does anyone know when they are going to release that curved gsync monitor Luke covered at computex? Also if anyone can tell me the make and model for it.

The Acer x34? or the Acer z35? or the Asus PG34Q? They are all curved ultrawide non released g sync monitors

If it's the Acer x34 it's said to release on the 28th of August, if it's any of the others then I don't think a date is set or announced yet, but I would expect them pretty soon after

I remember when that list had a freesync monitor on it by mistake aha

That list has all the released g sync monitors (TN & IPS) but misses all the non released but announced ones :(

I have 1 of those ^ (But with different headers) for G sync, freesync, 144Hz, 4k and Ultrawide. Although I've been lazy with 144Hz because there are so many random Korean displays and overclockable displays that I just can't be arsed to find and add  <_<

Thank you. But that list is missing monitors which can be pre-ordered or will be released in the next few months.

Also, that list is full of TN monitors, which are excluded in my list. Anyone who values their money and time will not accept the rip off prices for TN. An appropriate price for TN monitors is in two digits, not three.

Anyway, my list is complete, and i will keep updating it.

So the prophecy turned out to be true all along....

Dear mother of god... we have a no-compromise monitor this year after all.... finally, after all this time of having to choose between stuff

http://www.144hzmonitors.com/monitors/acer-x34-xr341cka-has-a-g-sync-range-of-30-100hz/

Now all they need to do is remove that ugly as fck 'Predator' logo and red bits on the buttons and we have ourselves the perfect monitor  :D

Then reduce the price by at least £100, but more realistically £200, then I would consider paying the extra £200 for g sync and 100Hz over other 34" 3440x1440 monitors like the U3415W

Although I'll probably end up buying one anyway at the end of summer providing I can mod that logo when it arrives  <_<

Why can't it be fokkin freesync?

The freesync one (XR341CK) is still 30-75Hz which isn't tooo bad! And it's cheaper to match so still a good option for AMD folks

Updated. Will try to accumulate AVAILABLE non-TN, gsync laptops too.

Please let me know any more that there are, if you know. I need the exact display specs and the cheapest price you can get a new one for.

It should be noted that if the Acer XR34 G-Sync DOES end up being 100Hz, it is quite likely that Asus will achieve this also with the PG34Q, so I'd be amazed if this ended up at 75Hz (again assuming the XR34 is 100Hz). It would be a pretty big fail otherwise, especially as it will be released later. And on that front, going by the delay with the 27" IPS brothers PG279Q vs the XB270HU, we will probably be waiting a LONG time for this one, next year I'm guessing.

The one with the ugly red and Predator branding is the 1080p Z35, not the 1440p XR34 G-Sync model... that is far cleaner and nicer design, basically the same as the Freesync version. As far as I'm aware anyway, and I haven't seen or heard any different.

The freesync one is the clean one, which looks great, but for some reason the G sync one, the x34, has all the red branding and the predator logo.

Just google image it, or watch some of the computex videos on it.

The z35 does as well, and it's worse than the x34, but the x34 still has it, unlike the cleaner looking freesync version.

Can you provide some links, because all I'm finding is a normal looking monitor, not a red one...

Unless all these people are getting the wrong info and being shown a Freesync monitor without knowing it.

Well the first video you linked is the freesync version, look at the product name in the video title, and then look at the Acer logo on the front, not the predator one and the lack of red buttons.

The second shows the x34 (g sync), and it shows the x34 with the red predator logo and with the red buttons, and same with the 3rd video, so you kind of provided the 'evidence' yourself?

This is from the 3rd video you linked:

hTMNHZS.jpg

I'm not trying to cause an argument over this, doesn't really affect me what you believe, but really all you need to do is google image it and you can see the red predator logo and the red buttons which I mentioned in the post you quoted

Now all they need to do is remove that ugly as fck 'Predator' logo and red bits on the buttons and we have ourselves the perfect monitor   :D

p.s. sorry @ for cluttering your thread
