In what order should I watch Star Wars?

Recommended Posts

Posted · Original PosterOP

So I've never watched Star Wars before, or maybe I have just that I don't have any memory of it.

In what order do you think I should watch all the movies in if I were to?

Thank you!

Start with Phantom Menace it's the bee's knees.

Actually, just watch 4-5-6 and skip the prequels is the correct answer.

Skip 1.

I disagree I really liked episode one.

4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3. Episodes 1, 2, and 3 and also just optional.

Episode 3 was the best of the movies.

How? I watched it and it was by far the worst IMO.

How? Probably the way my brain works. We are different, obliviously.

Watch them randomly and then piece it together when you're all finished ;)

for a chronologic story: 1-2-3-4-5-6

for release based chronology: 4-5-6-1-2-3

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

idk why most people hate 1 2 3

imo it was good for me.

vader is just a victim

he was cheerful, smart, passionate, loyal, and strong.

it comes more down on what you want yourself, a fluent story or seeing them in the order of release.

It is something which depends on personal tatse imo, i would go with 1-2-3-4-5-6 myself because fits better in a chronological way.

Because "Vader" literally goes from "I want to save the love of my life" to "I'm murdering innocent children" over the course of a minute.

4, 5, 6. If you must watch the prequels, don't watch them before the originals. It ruins all the story surprises. :(

What do they know of England, who only England know?

"Well that's what I always said I wanted to be remembered for, for being honest. Nothing else is worth a damn"

Because the prequels have little to no good story, the characters are weak and the acting is tosh. Anakin's character is the weakest of the all. Heck he was described better in A New Hope than what he was like in the prequels. A fierce warrior he should have been, not a whiny brat who was cocky and a bit of a creepy pervert. The only good thing in the prequels was Episode 1's final fight, at least that had some good going for it.
