Max overclock for a 780ti?

mattonfire

I bought a 780ti pre-overclocked and the actual overclock is shocking.

GTX 780 TI GPU ENGINE SPECS: CUDA Cores 2880 Base Clock (MHz) 875 Boost Clock (MHz) 928 Texture Fill Rate (billion/sec)

That's stock

This is the overclocked one I bought.

What do you think a overclocked 780ti would be able to get up to -

With voltage:

Without Voltage change:

All depends on the silicon lottery. What you pointed out doesn't help much/at all.

Try it out and see.

My friend got his 780ti up to 1200 something. (on a water block)

What would you recommend I go to without waterblock and without changing the voltage?

Edit: Like a starting number to work from there.

Why do you have a higher Pixel and Texture fillrate than mine, that's down to the chip set isn't it?

Silicon lottery and if it's a good card(like KPE or Matrix), it can go up to 1500MHz. Even 1600-1700MHz in some extreme situations. But usually 1300MHz is the most you will be able to get.

idk, but its +/- 1, s negligible, what's your ASIC level ? higher the ASIC level, better the overclocking

So mine is pretty good at overclocking? And I will be able to get more performance?
