What's your next hardware upgrade going to be? specific component wise..post your replies below..

 

Mine would probably be my keyboard..definitely going to be my keyboard first thing..

CPU cooler and graphics card will be thrown out shortly and replaced. Then hopefully my monitors as soon as the PG279Q are available.

New HD old one is starting to fail (500gb used for backup) and maybe 16gb of ram

Everything! My new rig has been stuck in limbo for a while now...I feel like going back to the drawing board might be the best thing to do at this point. Overthought myself to death.

I suppose you could say I'm replacing my monitors next. My next big tech purchase is probably going to be the Oculus Rift. Nothing really comes close to maxing my CPU and I can't really justify a new GPU while my current one can play most games at max settings.

Funny enough Im actually doing an overhaul on my current rig (see signature) what I will be upgrading to is:

Asus Z97 Ranger motherboard

Corsair H110i GT

CableMod red/black Axi cables (with the 24pin for the AX860 (super thanks to CableMod for sending me it for free!))

3X Silverstone sleeved Sata cables

Phanteks Evolv ATX

4X Fractal Design Venturi HP-14's

 

I have received everything besides the case (because its not released yet) and the fans because nowhere in the UK sells them or are sold out... I wouldnt say these are an upgrade, more of a visual update that cost me a lot of money haha but it will be worth it to me at least.

keyboard is going from crappy membrane to cm storm quickfire ultimate then pentium g3258 is going to be upgraded to i7 4790k then r9 270x is being upgraded to 980 (maybe ti if it comes down in price when i buy it in a year or so) then finally the monitor will be upgraded from a 24" 720p monitor to a 27" 1440p 60hz monitor. then perhaps ill upgrade from cooler master seidon 120v to something nice to put in the front of my corsair air 240 :)

Probably my GPU.  A single GTX 970 just isn't cutting it at the resolution I play at.  The easy solution would be to get a second 970 for SLI but at this point, I'm pretty displeased with Nvidia's corporate practices and I just can't bring myself give them any more money.

I'll be upgrading to win10 eventually, then I hope to get a new 144Hz monitor. I also hope to get a new laptop soon, the one I'm using right now almost bit the dust this morning.

Going to wait and see what Nvidia and AMD bring out next year for high-end GPUs.

Dad's been after my GTX 970s for a while now, and my dad's GPUs (my old 580s) are likely going to my brother in a month or so, so in all likelihood I'll be picking up a couple of 980 Tis soonish
