Best cooler for my cpu

Futilemark23

There are many good air coolers in that price range. For $65 there is the Phanteks PH-TC14PE, which performs pretty well, isn't that pricey, and comes in quite a few color. If want to save more money there is the cooler master hyper 212 evo, but that doesn't perform as well as the other options here. If you want something thats quiet and performs great for $100, but don't care about the looks, the noctua nh-d15 is great. Finally is the one I would recommend the most, the be quiet! dark rock pro 3. It looks incredible, is practically silent, performs extremely well, and only costs $75. There are some decent AIOs at this price, but they don't perform any better and are louder.

i have an i5 4690k and my case is a coolermaster 431 elite and it said on the website the tallest cooler i can get is 6.4 inches what is the best cooler budget is 100 dollars or less

i think the nh-d15 is a tad taller, but you can get the nh-d14 for around 70 bucks and performs almost the same

First, i think the D15 doesn't fit (sorry for mixed messages) and second, depends on your ram, is it low profile?

NH-D14

Not by a lot tho, and it looks much better, but the mounting system of be quiet! is notoriously annoying, so, up to you, both are great coolers

It will be extremely tight. The Dark Rock Pro3 is 163mm tall, which is the exact maximum cooler height for that case.

If it would hit that, it would hit every RAM stick available.
