Debezeling and mounting 3x21.5" monitors

P1X3

So I ordered a triple monitor lcd mount/stand for <22". For $70 shipped I think it's worth a try (link to product).

I also started debezeling the monitors, and that is when I stumbled upon a problem.

The vesa mount or the back plate, where the controller is mounted, doesn't connect to the panel.

However the plastic back and plastic front-bezel when clipped in are holding the panel together.

Until monitor stand comes I need to figure out how to mount vesa-mount/power panel to the actual panel. Maybe I will try hot glue or epoxy where you can see the yellow tape in some pictures.

Any ideas are welcome.

Here is the front plastic bezel that holds the panel from the front.

Continued.

Some numbers or power PCB. I think.

Numbers on the panel.

This is how it is supposed to be if it was mounted.

Temporary attached vesa mount/power pcb via tape. I think this is where I will hot glue the mount/power pcb to the panel. Or maybe epoxy. Probably epoxy unless someone suggests something better.

JB weld is the first thing that came to mind.

should be more then strong enough.

I tried JB weld and it doesn't seem to bond to lcd panel. I will have to try sanding the back side of lcd panel a little bit to see if maybe jb weld will bond with it then.

If not then I might look into high strength and high heat tolerant tape.

Edit.

I just remembered about 3m double sided bond tape. About two years ago I used it to keep ssd in place because there were no 2.5" mounts.

This is how I removed it...

JB-Weld not sticking? wow.

did you roughen it up with sandpaper first so it will bond better?
