What?

I know, this confused me so much lol

Avoid Gsync like the plauge, you should have to pay for proprietory hardware just to get a smoother experience.

ASync or Freesync are the best options.

Don't be a smuck and fork out £200 odd on top of an already expensive monitor. :)

i want to go nvidida though

Your choice :P But I would avoid G-sync and just get a regular monitor.

G-sync is an amazing technology. Once you use it you can't go back. It's tied to Nvidia cards, but I don't see that as a negative given amd's sad state.

Thrive on change. Embrace volatility.

At this point G-Sync > Free Sync, I get your point, paying for one companies licensed tech is lame but when its all around better and more readily available I would say its worth the trade off. No card is going to run the same FPS on every game. Like a 960 might run a lot of games at 1080 around 60fps and sure with WOW or League you could lock V-Sync and it would probably never fall under 60fps but if you do, or if you play a game that falls in between, G-Sync will also help a lot. Plus you can run a game at 50-70 fps and have it look better, rather than having to drop the settings to get it to run 60-80 fps and use V-sync.

Well I wouldn't jump the gun, Freesync has barely got it's feet on the ground and if it's going to be a Gsync killer then that makes the additional propri hardware invalid.

I would wait a while before slurging an insane amount of money for Gsync, but if the man want's nvidia then I suppose Gsync it is.

Could get a reduced 980 or even a 390X or at that point probably two 970s, prices will slam down hard within that time so waiting is the key :)
