store has been implemented for a week now. obviously not the final version but it doesn't look like it's going to be a pay to win as if you can be bothered to play it properly and go for a walk you'll easily get more than enough items to keep you going, and you'll be doing this to find pokemon anyway.

no word on how much the in game current will cost yet though.

Really curios if they will add new types or rebalance some of the older pokemon stat wise. Most only need a small boost to make them a bit more viable in competitive.

They probably could rebalance some stuff, since I guess you can't just directly trade (or do anything else directly) with the older games. Thus far it has been like that between different generations.

I hope they will have some really good poison and steel types you can capture in the main story though, since the Kalos region was a bit harder without one.. (I played Y without a Pokémon that knew either a steel or poison move, but in X I raised an Aegislash and the game was even easier :P )

I think I found my home thread :D

 

I started playing pokemon back at a young age originally started out playing the original red on the original GB, got into the cards as well as watch the anime. I still watch the anime to this day however my favorite is the original  first season.

My favorite seasons of the anime are still 3, 4 and 5 :D (that's all the Jotho seasons). 1 and 2 are up there too though.

I also been watching X&Y here lately :P

its not to bad.

Right now I got Seasons 1-4 and a good chunk of X&Y. My favorite movie would probably have to be Mewtwo Strikes Back. I Still have the Ancient Mew card I got from when I went and seen it in theaters :D

Mine were the Sinnoh and Unova seasons. Sinnoh because my first mainstream game was Platinum, Unova because I liked the 1st season´s theme song.

Silver was the first one I played.

 

I loved Gen II more than anything.

 

In my eyes:

Gen 2 > Gen 3 > Gen 1

 

Gen 2 remakes > Gen 3 Remakes > Gen 1 Remakes

 

Anything after Gen 3 that isn't a remake doesn't count for me. :D

But I'm trying to play through Black, just so I can transfer from HG to AS.

Pokémon is so gud :3. I own Pokémon Leaf Green, Pokémon Gold and Pokémon X. Played Heart Gold, Platinum, Black, Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time and Sky after, Pokémon Ranger, Pokémon Ranger Shadows of Almia (forgot the guardian signs) and Crystal on pc emulations :). Lovely :p.

I've been kind of skeptical about the future of the franchise since gen 6 came out. I haven't been a huge fan of the mega evolution concept, it feels like they're running out of ideas and I don't care for the new music especially from X and Y. ORAS is pretty cool, but it lacked some features that I really wanted like the full battle frontier return and options to play with the original soundtracks like HGSS offered. The Delta story was pretty cool admittedly, but they could've done much better still. I think they're falling into the same thing CoD is getting wrong by releasing games too frequently. Personally it's hard to pick a true favorite title, but none of the gen six are among my top picks. BW2 or Emerald would probably be my current favorite.

 

In my wishlist is for them to finally recognize the PC market by making a game for us and to slow down to make quality games over quantity and frequency. And lastly as much as I know it will not happen, for them to remove mega evolution. I think it's just a step too far in the concept of the games and my nostalgia just tells me no.

ewww the black and white anime series was HORRIBLE. Xy anime was so much better.
