I have no words. I've had insane stuttering in GTA V since release. I've mentioned it in tons of threads and no one has had a fix. I did this and POOF, I load in and no stuttering. All I can say is thanks for the post and even more thanks for bumping it otherwise I would have never seen it.

If anyone knows why this somehow works please explain it to me, i'm really curious now.

yes yes yes! Made a night and day difference for my gtx960 and helped quite a bit on my 980 which surprised me (tried turning the feature on and off and it was making a difference) Will try it with my single 980ti when it arrives

It has worked for me too, it has made fifa and pro evo nice and responsive and smooth, GTA V nice and smooth in windows 10, not tested lots of games, but the ones i have tested i haven't noticed any stutter.

Generally my PC is a touch more responsive too.

This helped me to get rid of micro stuttering in GTA 5 on Windows 10 so I thought I should share it.

I don't know if many people knew about this but hopefully it helps you guys out.

Damn..!! Why didn't anyone post this a long time ago! I'll try it after office.

Really Can't wait to try this.

I hope it will reduce stutter on witcher 3 which is quite awful.

I hope it will give a better experience with my old GTX 780

I'll try this out. SLI on GTA is aweful, especially online.

But i've to admit that this is the only game that's like that ... The witcher 3 runs perfectly smooth.

Tried commands, they dont. And yes,I checked for any syntax mistakes.Guess its just for 8.1 and 10.

I wonder if that would work for Skyrim with 200 mods on top? The game does stutter quite a lot. I don't know if it is the GPU that can't handle all the 2K textures (which I am sure the GTX 980 should be able to give 90FPS @ 2K resolution) or is it something from the game. The GPU load is 50% going up to 60%.

Only one of the commands works on 7 but that one didn't seem to have any effect so it works only on 8 and 10.

My guess is that it won't help with that but you can try it. It won't do any harm so there's nothing to lose.

free Windows 10 upgrade?

Planning to store it into my flash drive for future use....The reason I am not getting windows 10 is because it might cause more problems with my games than good
