I currently have 3 hard drives just chilling in my side panel held up by nothing but the cables back there lol, also i used my Sennheiser HD600's in their case as a monitor stand so i could have it above my other monitor.

Yes. Along with the Intel iGPU. Top one is my crappy 7950 3GB, bottom one is a GTX 480 Engineering Sample (1.5GB, of course).

If I had a working camera... 

I'm balancing one of my monitors on a bookshelf speaker, which is being held by some books. Surprisingly, I've had it like that for 6 months and it hasn't toppled over once.

Eric S. Raymond used an E6600 from 2005 until 12/30/14 or open source software creation. Raw data computations in excess of 18GB each. Core 2 Duos still have tons of life left, my friend.

What is the most ghetto mod you have ever done? Did you rip your case open to fit that new video card, or did you build a phone stand out of old boxes? Tell us your ghetto mods! Pictures are welcome!

For me, it would probably have to be using an unused SSD bracket to hold up my video card.

fan died in psu many years ago (was a coolermaster psu, so no surprise). removed it and jammed a 120mm case fan inside. ran like that for a year.

I had really loud components and my old case was loud and all metal so I used socks and random fabric to de-harshen the noise it made. It worked rather well I must say.

well when my keyboard started to break, I was using page up for my S key(S key broke), Home for my Caps lock(caps lock broke too). With headphone with dodgy cables in the past I've taped them at an angle to make them work. More recently I would really call it a mod but a compromise, I broke the digitiser for the bottom part of my phone screen so I downloaded an app called pi controls(actually a really good app). Also when building my sisters PC, we had to bend the bottom part of the 660ti: (The metal prongs are meant to be straight, but it's a super shitty case and it didn't fit in normally without grinding up against the mobo)

I shoved the fan off an original Xbox GPU into the heatsink of my FX 5200.

Well the most getto thing I did was put a paper construction in front of a network switch in order to cover up the blue LEDs that would light up my room... Yes I could have just used duct tape but then it would be less getto...

New HDDs on a legacy PC? they use molex instead of sata power to power the SATA drives? Won't fit?
