Probably not that ghetto, but I use twist ties hold in a fan because I have no threading screws. Or am just too lazy to look :rolleyes:

all my mods are ghetto... since i dont care what it looks like as long as it works how i want it to.... never was much on looks of my system... and let me tell ya all my systems look like hell took a shat on them lol but they work exactly as intended...

Replacing the burnt out VRM on my P5K (damn Xeon drew a shitload of power), with the VRM of my old Celeron D rig. I almost set both motherboards on fire switching out the mosfets (I didn't have a soldering iron, so i had to use alternative methods),

Did a shitty spray job to match the case with the LEDs, and the LEDs were insanely bright so I added a little switch behind the front door of it to turn them off.

 Also when building my sisters PC, we had to bend the bottom part of the 660ti: (The metal prongs are meant to be straight, but it's a super shitty case and it didn't fit in normally without grinding up against the mobo) 

 

Why sacrifice a  660ti instead of the case?

I had just replace a broke fan in my laptop cooler for a new one and added some nice thick pads for comfort :D

That could actually reduce vibrations slightly, if there was a vibration problem to begin with.

I dropped it once.....

When my stock fan shroud cracked and my fan stopped working...

 

Hotglued a Noctua to my 5770, still working in my mums pc powering World of Tanks, just have to use a motherboard header or use a fullspeed molex>fan adapter to give the fan some juice.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
