Xbox One New Elite Controller - Swappable parts included - Updated

GoodBytes

I think this looks awesome and will definitely be interested in picking one up so long as it is in the $45 to $55 range.

Current controller is $59.99 U.S

This one will probably be $99.99

my friend has one :P

that controller.. It doesn't even give that much advantage, I have used it. (I get called out by people thinking I have one too).

Also, the quality seems to be terrible, since 1 of his paddle plastic pieces broke off and the other stopped working.

*sigh*

Another argument for PCMR.

OMG not more buttons.  Definitely more reason for me to never get a console again.

.. and 4 bumper pads under the grips gives the user more ways to screw up and hit buttons they shouldn't.  I hate that button placement.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

It does for me.

Yeah, people can get used to it, but that doesn't mean it's natural  :P .

The d-pad is better on PS controllers though.

It does look gorgeous, I already have the Xbone controller getting dust but whatever I'll probably buy this one anyways.

-snip-

I said I hated the button placement. Am I allowed that?  You always go about attacking every post I make like I am not allowed to want what I want for me.  Maybe instead of them placing 4 buttons underneath in a spot where I think one could easily slip and hit the things makes sense to some but not to you. Oh well so you don't share my views on the new controller but please allow people to post in peace here on these boards.  Every post of yours in response to me is combative.

Oh and for the record about mice I do complain about button size on mice and placement and still I have not found a perfect mouse for me.  Also in regards to consoles I don't hate on them as I have had many of them.

What amazes me is how rude the guy is.  If you think his response to what I said did anything good for this community you don't get what this guy does.

Then don't buy it. This is for people who know exactly what they want out of their controller and know exactly how to setup their peripherals. Do you also complain about gaming mice that have upwards of a dozen extra buttons? My mouse currently has 7 programmed buttons, I know what I want it to do so how do I get confused?

Lol. Your position is laughably full of holes and just sounds like typical "console hating". Having more buttons = terrible? Is that what you say to gaming mice and keyboards that have so many extra buttons for customizations? LOL.

Isnt that his opionion on  how he feels about console controllers? If you can't respect a member then dont bother replying at all.

I wonder if it's possible to use it with, say, 3 paddles removed altogether. I can easily think of several games where one or two paddles might be enough, whereas another game you'd love to have all 4 attached.
