390X criticism (discussion)

GoodN1ght

xfx was/is selling them at best buy for 429 for the 390 not 390x so we will see what a sapphire card runs. Hopefully it puts enough pressure to drop prices even more but I'm more in the market for a 980ti anyways. Waiting for the g1 and gaming 4g to come out before buying one.

Best buy prices are not an accurate indicator. I can find a gtx 660 on their website selling for nearly 450! If that is what Best Buy sells it for, you can probably subtract at least 50 dollars to gauge what everyone else will sell it for.

I understand that best buy is generally overpriced (although the proliferation of internet purchasing has definitely reduced the surcharge margin best buy and other live stores charge) but it's still xfx lol. Either way we can hope it drops priced on green team, although with a 78% current market share I am doubtful that nvidia will bat an eye.
