Who is getting a Noctua LTT Edition?

yes that is a good idea. we could get a list of who wants them and how many and do a bulk shipment then send them out to the correct place once they get here. :)

Hell I can even talk with a few friends that work for UPS about deals and discounts for shipping stuff too. So remember you got a friend in the states if you need to get your hands on something :P

I might consider buying one with blue edges as a replacement fan on a CPU cooler, but for case fans, Noctuas really are way too expensive in my opinion...

I want to warn you guys in advance. They are going to cost more than normal Noctua fans. We'll be targeting $7 from each fan sold, and I don't expect Noctua or any retailers to reduce their margins.

It looks like they'll be about [REDACTED], but that's still up in the air...

I just don't want people to be disappointed when they show up and they're more expensive.

Some GOOD news is that the anti-vibration mounts (the ones that replace your case screws) are going to be orange too :)

EDIT: Looks like they're going to be a bit pricier. Logistics and retailer stuff is a little new to us..

If they weren't expensive, came in PWM variants, as well as 140mm and 120mm variants... I sure as fuck would.

Probably not. I keep all my fans under my radiators so they're not visable. Not paying an arm and a leg for a limited edition fan that no one will see. They do look good though and I like how you can swap colors.

They would make a killing out of continuing to sell a black nf-f12 after the special edition is sold out and i hope they do keep selling them. i personally dont mind the colour too much, but it definitely turns some people off noctua fans

They will most definitely look better on the outside of my case than the puke brown Noctua pressure optimized 140's will.

I probably would have done had I not already replaced every fan in my PC with NF-A14s

You should be hiding them behind dust filters anyway, so the colour shouldn't be immediately apparent from the outside.

Cases such as the Corsair 450D have a open front panel so like the 140mm fans in the front will be visable

Yes, but you should mod that case to do something about it, otherwise you will kill your components with dust. I've literally seen people go through extreme lengths to ensure positive air pressure and do nothing about dust getting in the actual intakes.

I say "mod", I mean literally finding a way to fasten a piece of fabric to the front in a way that looks half decent.

They do provide more static pressure. There is a fan filter behind the airflow opening so it still provides static pressure.

Yeah i'm interested in buying these to support LTT and have something a little extraordinary in return, even for up to a $10 USD preminium per fan. Shipping & handling is where it's decided for me though. Usually i'm paying over half the price of the item to get it shipped to me, and nobody (that i care about) gains from that.

Let's say if it's a $30 fan (which i think it'll be), if S&H is another $20, the fan will cost me like $50. And then, if i buy enough of them to compensate for S&H, import tax will kick in.

And that's even assuming that it will be available to me, outside USA/Canada.

So, i'm a sceptical enthusiast?
