Awesome.

Please consider getting getting them "Fulfilled by Amazon"

It would make shipping them to far off places like Australia SO much cheaper and easier...

Also, maybe a black version of this? Looks like a Noctua GT/Vardar style fan.

OMG. AN ORANGE AND BLACK NOCTUA. My life is complete. Finally some decent fans for my orange and black build in progress!!!!!

Please make sure i can source these in Australia (shipping from US is fine... as long as Australia isn't missing from available shipping counties which is what usually happens.)

I'm sure there are many many more Aussies hapopy to source this awesome product.

Both great choices. I tell you what I've been falling in love with recently, is some of the cougar fans. Though I would love an ornage build for my portable rig, my desk and everything around it is read. But my storage box will likely have them.

I have these I was thinking of getting two more but I might just get the LTT fans instead or silent wings 2 id.

I heard that some people have problems putting it the cougars for intake for the 550d and that's where I need them

I have heard bad things about them being placed horizontal

for the money yes, but I always use them in builds without windows, stuff like storage boxes. So quiet, so nice, so reliable.

I wouldn't call the NF-F12 quiet, it's FOUR TIMES as loud as the Silent Wings 2 and only has barely 9% more airflow to show for all that noise.

sssssh sssh ssh but yea I have some be quiet stuff, nice stuff.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

The difference is that ours will come orange by default, yes, and also that they will be normal (non industrial PPC) fans at the normal RPM range, so they'll be quieter than Noctua's other black fans.

Pricing will actually be (unfortunately) higher than a normal NF-F12, but not as high as the industrial variants.

And yes, we get a kickback on the fans.. sort of.. We actually have to BUY the inventory up front rather than doing this as just a licensing agreement. We'll be the only ones stocking the fan (or whatever warehouse solution we end up using. Maybe Amazon)

I will probably end up buying a box full of them (at least 12+ fans). Let us know when you're going to start selling 'em.

Only if you believe the spec listed by the manufacturers.

BTW, there is no standardized method for manufacturer to test their fan. This makes comparing different brands of fans based on spec alone less than useful.

I think the fans look good. I would consider buying a few of them.

I have been thinking of getting a new case and been looking at the NZXT H440. Maybe I should go with the Orange version.

That there saved my day! :) I thought they were gonna be the industrial speeds.

Where can we get the other color rubber thingies? Will they be included or can we buy them seperatley?

They are comparable if the very same testing procedure is applied. And yes, noctuas are louder, but they also have a lot more static pressure. -> radiator fans.

who cares...

If these could get released by next month, for when i start my next PC build, that'd be great! Always wanted Noctua fans, but the color scheme ALWAYS made me not get them.

I still like the standard noctua color scheme the most. Someone's gonna shoot me for saying that . . . oh well . . .

So, since they are releasing Chromance packs (Red, Blue, etc.), is the only thing that makes them "Linus Edition" is that it comes with Orange bits by default, and if so, can't we just buy the orange bits after the fact? I'm just saying, when you say "Linus Edition", I think LMG or the WAN logo, not just Orange and Black (Like 90% of Be Quite products).

there will be a LTT logo on the final product too!

Thoughts on this being a 2000 RPM version, albeit in the standard build quality and not the fiberglass reinforced impellers in the IPPC? Unless you are basing these as set and forget, which isn't a good idea anyway with the retail NF-F12 fans on a radiator, you can get more speed (and noise and performance) for those who want it. The efficient motors Noctua use enable real low RPM operation as it is so it's not like you would loose anything else.

I didn't realize you were selling them yourself. Do we have a rough ETA on them, and will there be an order limit?
