Not a terrible pc for a family member or a friend, or even a starter pc for yourself. The APU should run most games at 30+ fps on low setting without a GPU.

 

And it comes with an SSD/hard drive.

Actually that's not too bad, but spending a little more on a better looking case might be worth it.

It's only A68 chipset, though.  However, the fact that it's unlocked and can break possibly break 5 GHz since these APUs can withstand up to 1.5 V under 60°C under load, it can be a good starter platform.
