I am not familiar with your original thread, but do you have AVAST or another AV installed and active on your computer?

you should have bumped your original thread, it's not that old.

Either way.

Did you get a PS/2 keyboard?

Have you tried safe-mode?

Get into safe mode and disable or preferably uninstall the AV.  A lot of the AV programs have behavior monitoring features that can disrupt Windows and either prevent log in or cause a very slow transition past the Welcome Screen.  Can you link your previous thread so I can read please :)

I find that hard to believe that your Motherboard doesn't support USB.

Do you mean the keyboard just doesn't function or turn on while booting after a certain point?

If so it's a setting in the BIOS.

What motherboard is it exactly?

I had this issue a few times.

pull out the Mobo CMOS battery for 10min or so.

if your mobo has the ps/2 plug in then use it, if not USB is usually always supported esspecially on newer boards(2010 +)

I had issues with the computer detecting my usb keyboard while starting up. I had to keep it plugged in while turning off and on.

note* dont use wireless usb keyboards.

try to load into your bios and reset everything to factory defaults and start back up.

start up in safe mode and do what WARCONY mentioned.
