I an pretty fed up paying 200$ a month from comcast for Internet and cable. Also, 300$ For my family's phone and data plan from AT&T.

What would be the best thing to switch to? Straight up verizon, or maybe verizon and ting?

Thanks a ton! :)

If you have T-Mobile in your area then get that, it's far better than anything else.

As for internet, Comcast might be your only option but if you do have access to FiOS then it'd be better just note you have to sign a two year contract with them.

So Fios for cable and internet? How much does google fiber cost?

(I am in Philadelphian Suburbs.)

Then for mobile, what makes T-mobile so good? Wouldn't Ting save me more?

EDIT: Would bundling version wirless with cable and interwebz save me $? Or does it operate as a separate entity?

My phone service is Republic Wireless. Currently you can only buy the janky beta phone, Moto E, Moto G and Moto x gen 1 and 2, but $25 for unlimited 3g data, texting and calling a month is a phenomenal deal. They are now beginning to "pay" you for unused data as well. https://republicwireless.com/

(Check out this link to see some information on the ISPs near you.)

Sadly Google Fiber isn't available in your area. I recommend looking at FiOS. Comcast is known for having horrible customer service and for ripping people off, but if you're fine with that then it's a good one to go with if you can't get FiOS.

Google Fiber is only available in a very few areas in the US, Philadelphia is not one of them unfortunately. Ting doesn't actually have their own network they go off Sprint's network so if your in a high congestion area you can pretty much guarantee your traffic/calls are lowest priority. T-Mobile is the fastest wireless carrier in the US with 50 down and 30 up on 4G LTE and own their own network which as as of right now isn't over sold in most places, also no contracts which is nice. You can check if you have FiOS available in your area here. Verizon Wireless and Verizon FiOS non bundle-able.
