hmm 24mm@2.8?

 

Would be good, f2.8 still gives a nice depth of field and decent low light performance

 

24mm is nice as it would be roughly a 35-38mm lens after crop which is much better than 80mm

ohh, someone said that its just a lock and doesnt adjust the tension.....

is it for pan or tilt?

 

Tilt, normally pan is locked on a different lever below

so there are 2 controls? one for pan and one for tilt? because i mainly want pan drag....

Yeah you can independently lock pan and tilt so that when panning you don't told (and vice versa)

thats the head i was going to get.... 

the tripod is terrible... and you cant remove the head... so ill be better buying the head separately and getting a nice tripod....

 

do you know of any decent tripods for under £50ish? i have upped my price a little....

you cant expect every single feature on a cheap tripod

I am full of great ideas :D and its always useful to have ducktape so wrap some around a as a grip then you always have tape in an emergency (cos it doenst ruin when it sticks to itself)

 

I imagine it will do the job as good as anytihng else in this price range

not the 50-250 because the lowest focal length is too zoomed in...

is an idea - I actually still have this lens - you could possibly buy it off me if you were interested... I have moved to full frame so its no use to me
