you mean the i2? i used to use it but after realising how bad it is i did some research and upgraded to the prolimatech pk-3 which seems to be up there just below the liquid thermal compound

It's called "COoler master High performance thermal paste" and it's silver

Just purchased the Kryonaut and applied it 3 different times. I'm seeing about the same, or sliiiightly worse temperatures compared to Arctic Silver 5. All within margin of error, so it's difficult to say.

 

I think it's more important about how you apply the thermal paste than the paste itself... Tried spreading it out twice, and the X method once.

i just put a dot in the middle tbh. it should be a few c cooler than as5.

I tried both spread and "pea" methods. They have identical result and less than 0.2 degree *C difference(6 core average) compares to GC Extreme. It isn't a bad product in term of cooling performance. But I can get Gelid GC Extreme for less than half the price and performs just as good. I can't recommend this product to anyone.

 

I don't know. Maybe it is the second coming of Jesus when you use it in LN2. In normal air and water cooling, just no.

yeah it is great under ln2 the crack point is 30-50c lower than gelid . It does come down to pricing in the end £/performance is king.

You get a lot more Paste w/ Thermal Grizzly than with GC-Extreme.

I am using the paste that was included to my Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 2 cooler. Not sure how good it is but I was thinking of getting something better.

I thought that Thermal Grizzly's claims were superfluous at first, but after reading some of your tests that you guys did, I would have to go with these guys now for the best thermal performance and overclocking. Going for the Hydronaut flavor instead of the Kyronaut since it's a little cheaper for 3ml of the stuff.

Replacing the stock paste on the h80i yielded a drop of 7C on an i7 4790k! Plus this shit cooled my friends reference r9 290 by a difference of 15c, LMAO!

The 290's paste was sort of dry and caked on, so any paste replacement probably would of helped
