H440 Build Log

Hi guys, 

Still planning my build. Hopefully it will happen in the Summer; I'm planning on doing a watercooled system but I want to sort out my colour scheme first and I wanted some suggestions. I'm planning on buying one of the H440 with the black as the base colour and plasti-dipping the accents white (like a white case but inverted colour scheme).

Anyway these are the specs:

I7-4970k (I cba to wait for skylake unless it comes out during the Summer)

Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark S

Avexir Core Series 16GB (the one which matches the sabranco camo)

GTX 780ti /980/ 980ti HOF

 

Watercooling wise I was hoping for 2 x 360mm but I think I will just got for a 240mm and 360mm. 

 

I'm planning on doing my fans like this (credit to AMD Lover and his Vanilla Ice build) http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/148568-vanilla-ice-750d-in-progress/page-8

 

This got me considering a Blue and White themed build or maybe the same style i was going for before but with blue coolant instead of the milky white one. Would love to hear your opinions

Change of plan, I don't see any point in upgrading so i'm going to stick with my i7-3770k and my Asus z77 P8z77-v Deluxe however I will upgrade my gpu for a 770. I'm going with a predominantly white/blue theme with a bit of black. Do you guys think there is any point upgrading? (All i use it for is gaming mainly)

Anyone know if you can buy a fake ssd as a place holder in a h440 I don't really want to buy 2 ssds as I only need 1 and having an empty slot annoys me
