I'm getting ready to build my mom a budget PC which I was planning on installing Windows 8 on.

I really need a copy of windows, because I unknowlingly paid to have a pirated copy of windows installed, and the guy who did it disapeared.

 

EDIT: when I first got my pc back all seemed legit, but it threw up windows authenticity problems as soon as I conected it to internet. and when I called back he would not answer, and I didn't know how to contact him, (this was 4 months after windows 7 came out)

 

the computer still has the crappy windows on it and I have not used it since 4 months after the bad installation.

Why are you giving it away? Did you buy it and decide you didn't like it? Or do you just have an extra copy for some odd reason?

i dislike windows 8. i think it is like a cell phone os

so getting a copy would . let me ( use it and see just how bad.. or Good it really is. )
