How long is your computer running everyday?

i use my computer at night and download large files at morning so i think 24/7 but not always

also i know that is bad for your computer to run 24/7 but can anyone tell me why is it like the hard drive can't handle or cpu ????

its actually more healthy to leave it on

I never turn it off. I don't really see the point.

you should at some point as it builds up errors.

I turn it off when not in use, mostly because I  used to laptops but also becuase it boots up really fast and it s better for it mostly in the reduced build up of heat also helps with the electricity bill.

but did you know computers are ment to be left on all the time... yeah its true didnt believe it at first. but if you think about it they are.

 

computers have cooling to make sure the componants stay functhing, and has been know that shutting down your and starting it back up when you need is actually worse than just leaving it on.

I use a Hackintosh so not really an issue. My macbook has stayed on for 40 days straight with 0 hiccups before. Stable OS is stable....
