How long is your computer running everyday?

LegendKillerRG

How long does your computer is turned on everyday or on average?

My brother uses google talk(free phone calls) and he leave a his computer on 24/7 even over night, he only turns it off when "no one" is home. He also have a business where he shoots wedding videos/pictures too which is one of the reason why it's on 24/7... He got a computer that is meant for "gaming"(hexagon core with ROG Board) and it's not even close to workstation...

Pretty much 8. I turn it off cause I don't have air conditioning and it's right beside my bed. I don't like to hear the fans when I sleep.

The only times this computer has been turned off since I built it are when it was required. Like installing drivers or windows updates. Other than that it is always on.

About 12-15 hours. That's because now I'm on summer break. If I had school right now, it'd be more like 8 hours, maybe less sometimes.

It's on when I use it, maybe 3 hours a day during the week and maybe 6-8 hours on the weekends.

I have a NAS system that is on 24x7, it's on a UPS so it doesn't even reboot if there is a power outage.

Also, that isn't a hexagon core, it's a hexacore CPU. A hexagon core means it's shaped like a hexagon, a hexacore means it has 6 cores. Hexa = 6.

Probably 8 hours combined, a few hours before work/school, then a few hours after. It might be on for 10 because I'll play a movie at night to help me sleep (for some reason, playing a familiar movie keeps my mind from 'racing' at night).
