That memory is slow, but it is 512bit so it is still a beast. :)

Farewell to my beloved 3 way 570's, never owned a Radeon card, but with the next gen consoles all Radeon AMD cpu based, it's time to move on.

The 9970 sounds awesome!

Ermergerd, what. Why did I just get a 7950

Don't worry you'll probably be just fine with the next gen ports all the new games will be optimized for Radeon, get a faster 1 later if you need too, I'm using Nvidia 500 series and have to upgrade anyway.

You havent posted about this and i find this side myself. :)

And relase is late Q3 2013 or early Q1 2014.

And it is not 40% faster, becouse it only have 5000mhz memory clock. :)

I also just got one.....dont worry. You could probably get like £200 for your 7950 as long as its in good shape. If you can get that then crossfire it and your in business. I also have a 7950 and im gonna wait to see 9970 benchmarks and real world performance...and most importantly the price. If its more than twice what i would pay for a single 7950 im just gonna buy another 7950. If i can sell my 7950 for atleast £200-220 then im gonna get the 9970. EIther way im gonna having stonkingly great performance. Im not too worried about power consumption as i have a good psu and the heat will go away as i would just spend £100 on a custom loop.
