Perhaps you should revert back to the older drivers, I installed the latest one (350.something) and I had my 650 ti start doing the same thing when idle or when trying to launch any game.

Won't solve it. It's a very popular bug and SLI isn't the problem. It's been happening to me constantly and I have a single 980.

Welcome to GTA V :D

What exactly happens? Does the launcher crash?

The game crashes while on online mode, which is what I'm assuming OP is talking about. Story mode is perfect, online mode has issues.

It's having to do with online mode, I'm assuming. Story mode is fine, though. Gotta be some kind of weird network issue that causes the game to crash.

Happening to me and a ton of other people. You're not alone. Rockstar has been spammed with the complaint so I'm 100% sure they know about it and are working on a fix. The issue is tracking down the problem because nothing particularly obvious happens to cause the crash.

I just updated drivers to fix the crashing but to no avail. Its happening in story mode. Disabling SLI doesn't fix it either.

really? I have been on it non stop and never once crashed. Is it that bad for everyone? I have frozen maybe 2-3 times. But it always recovers after 10 seconds or so.

gotta say, the few crash issues i've heard of somehow were related to the 980, or the GTX9xx series of GPUs in general.

Yeah, I'd rather not play it on low settings.
