14 day photo challenge

Momas
Go to solution Solved by Bsmith,

Hello, I would like to take the time to necro this dead topic with the fact that the unofficial LTT group on flickr just has launched it's FIRST photo challenge, based on this idea.

Feel free to join or look around, everyone is welcome afterall.

topic link: https://flic.kr/g/rFKAv

edit:

small question to @Blade of Grass could you maybe make my comment with the link for the flickr page/challenge best answer(or include the link to the page in your post), so that we it would be easier for us to continue it and if people stumble upon this some time in the future they can find their way to that pretty easy instead of accidental/forcefully necroing this

@Momas is there a time restriction in which the photos need to be taken? From the start to the end of the contest period? Within a month of the start? Year? or is it open?

From what I see you have until 4-27-15 to submit your entry. Looks like you can use any photo so old photos should be ok as long as they adhere to the rules.

There's no rules on when the photo should be taken, so you can post your older photos (photo should follow rules from OP and challenge). Of course the photos you take in the 14 challenge days are preferred :)  I understand that not everyone has time to take photos :) +there's no way to actually know when the photo was taken (exif info can be wrong if the date was wrong in camera or if it was changed by software)

Only time limit is until when you can post your entries for the current challenge (current challenge entries are accepted until April 27th)

Here's my photo for the challenge. I know it's not very good, I'm still learning :D

So i was about to get ready and shoot my pictures for this challenge, it rained a bit and was dry again, the sky seemed nice, bit cloudy, not too much sun, not too much (dark) clouds.

But before i snap the first shot my mom asked if i wanted to help with groceries, why the hell not.

After helping with the groceries i realized i left something outside.

then i looked outside and saw it was raining.

FCK i left my camera in the rain!(sounds familair?)

after i got it out of the rain i saw it there, sitting soaked and wet, that is when the idea sprung up to me to take pictures of it, because the theme is rain so a bit rained on camera fits perfectly.*

*the story is completely fictional, no camera's, laptops, people or hamsters got hurt with the making of this photo or story, it's all studio work and a fictional story.

So I took this one due to being in a car at the time I wanted to take a picture, so instead settled for this. I was planning on using an old one from a few years ago due to not having any rain for pretty much the last 2 weeks, but I thought I'd save it for another challenge that may come up at a later date.

Sadly, I've not had much time to get my Tri-Pod out and get it set up, and my camera has been causing me some hassle recently; but it's not the worst picture in the world!  :P

Sadly I didn't have time to take a new photo for this challenge.  I had two different shots in my head but I just didn't have time to work on anything.  I have finals next week so this didn't hit at the best time for me.

This is a shot I took 3 years ago while camping in Vermont.

Here we go, time for my entry to the tech themed competition. This is one of the only pictures I have of my new GPU, as it's now going away until my birthday next month. I'm absolutely in love with the design of the cooler, it's one of the reasons I got the card, and I think that this picture sums it up.

I do intend to edit this slightly in a bit, but I've not had the chance to yet.

Try to stick to the rules and have fun! :)

Previous challenges:

This sounds like it should be a lot of fun. It's been quite a while since I've focused on my photo work.

BTW is it only 1 photo per entrant?
