Experiences with non-techies

No I wasn't mocking you.  It really is nice to see different races/cultures/etc. all getting along with each other.  Thought personally I'd love to learn Japanese or Italian instead of Spanish.  ?

(Not that there's anything wrong with Spanish of course.)

Well he is brazilian and the are a lot of chinese in karachi recently. Just go to the airport. not as much as vancouver but in refernce to karachi. A LOT.

think it is because of a on going nuclear power plant project near karachi

I just remembered something me and my dad did a few months ago. Here's what happened: My uncle's laptop didn't want to boot and got stuck at Sarting Windows and he gave it for repair. After 3 weeks he got it back in the same condition so he asked if me and my dad can have a look at it. He gaves us the laptop and the next day we fixed it for like 20 minutes (one of the RAM sticks was faulty). We had spare time and we noticed the WiFi didn't work. We opened the laptop and tried unplugging and plugging back in the WiFi antenna - nothing. Then we reinstalled Windows and nothing. We even tried a different WiFi card. After all this we accidentally found out that the Wifi switch was set to Off, we set it to On and guess what happened - the WiFi started working. So we wasted a few hours trying to fix something that wasn't broken in the first place.

it happens to all

Or if it's something like Apple a9 vs snapdragon 810.

A9 beats the crap out of the 810 in single core and in multi the 810 throttles so much that it ends up losing (my phone with an 810 legit gets hot just from simple web browsing! Curse you 20nm!).

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Right, well, I was gonna say my Pentium G4400 is faster than my I7 hex cores because it boots in 5 seconds, while my X99 rig normally takes over 10 seconds (when it was last working).

Linus is my fetish.

When your mom has no idea what your phone has and thinks "It's not an iphone, so it has to be a samsung". xD.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

I hate this one. Phones seem to be divided by most people into "IPhone", "Samsung" and "crappy nokia"

That's just somebody who wants to find issues in thing where none existed.

Anybody still with a 4S or a 4 should rethink their interaction with technology.
