AMD Catalyst™ 15.4 Beta for Windows® - Grand Theft Auto V Optimized

This release enables peak driver performance optimization for AMD Radeon™ graphics users in Grand Theft Auto V.

Highlights of AMD Catalyst™ 15.4 Beta Windows Driver

New Crossfire Profiles for:

    • Grand Theft Auto V
    • Dying Light*
    • Galactic Civilizations III
    • Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
    • Mortal Combat X**
    • Sleeping Dogs : Definitive Edition

Crossfire Profiles updates for:

    • Battlefield Hardline
    • Far Cry 4
    • Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor

Sadly no Freesync X-fire update (will probably be released later this month). No denying GTA V being a huge title, when both AMD and NVidia releasing updates, focused on this game: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/347247-nvidias-latest-driver-drops-35012-whql-with-support-for-gta-v-and-other-games/

AMD is up to speed as always but...

Why dont they make profile-only updates like intergrated into the Catalyst. Because, profiles are just files, and downloading/installing a whole drive is not worth it imo

Is the NVIDIA release Beta as well, or is WHQL release candidate?

I don't see how he's complaining? All he says is that sadly there's no CrossFire FreeSync support, I think you'd have to be reaching pretty far to call that complaining.

it appears everyone is trying to download the file at once... AMD needs to add more hamsters to their server.

AMD has not released freesync functionality for X-fire yet. They said sometimes this month. Has nothing to do with GTAV :)

It's not just a crossfire profile, but also driver optimization of GTA V itself.

Sadly, there is no custom xfire profile for GTA 5 in this driver update..

I don't see any pre-defined profiles in 15.4Beta for GTA 5, even removed and re-installed drivers just to be sure.

hopefully its just me and AMD didn't forget...

Can anyone tell me how much improve did it do to MGS: Ground Zeroes? Because at the highest settings it is a stutter mess for my R9 290 while a GTX 770 can run it better.

I can get 60FPS at 2nd highest settings but I want to max it out.
