A port is just semantics for the PC version of something. people just use the word to describe game versions they don't like it

 

Something being a port or not is meaningless, Watch Dogs wasn't a port.

Specs are in sig, im going to TRY I didn't preorder it.. but I "acquired" the game files. My goal is if its good im gonna buy it throw said files in steams folder and varify the game cache so I can play it ASAP since its been an 11 hour download for me.

If that will work I dunno..but ya thats what im gonna attempt.

Going off your specs and what R* says, you should piss over it lol.

But we shall see.

Getting really bad download speeds for day one patch. 266-400KBps on my 1.8MBps download speed.

The game runs good, my friend got access to it few days ago and it runs on 970 at max settings on 60fps

Sweet, so not a shitty optimized game? :D

It runs over 60 if you disable vsunc (its on by default). I'm currently playing the first story mission, which is inside. So far so good, settings high/very high 1080p, 60+ fps. Specs in sig.

I wonder what it's like outside.

I sure hope not. PC Gamer said they could do 4K with GTX 980's in SLI.

The game runs insanely well, I've cranked up all settings except AA at 1440p and I get 70+ FPS with an average of around 85.

 

This is with two GTX 980s.

 

The game tells me I've got 8GB VRAM, when I obviously don't but even though thr game says I need over 6GB for the settings I've got, the game still runs and runs flawlessly at that 70+ FPS.

 

The best bit though? Online is actually quick, I gave up on the PS3 version as games took so long to get into. Well I'm off to bed, it's 2am here and I have work in the morning.

I'm averaging 110fps on 1080p, my gpu is overclocked to 1500mhz

Mine doesn't run as good as it should. Settings are on default and the FPS drops below 40.

 

I7 4770k oc 4.5

18 gb ram

290x crossfire 4gb

windows 8.1 64 bit
