my Turtle Beach PX3 headset won't turn on

Okay, so I bought my Turtle Beach headset awhile ago and everything was working great, until today, I was in the middle of a game talking to some friends on Skype; then I kept hearing a beeping sound. I thought something was wrong, so after the game I turned my headset off and then I was going to turn in back on but instead of seeing the solid light like you're suppose to, there is no light. It's cordless and I had just left it plugged in since I don't really go around any where with it unless I go get some food or something but I plug it back in. Could this have caused it? I need to know what to do, I really don't want to have to buy a new one.
