yep , but i got an upgrade the next day to 2 680's so all wasn't lost (gotta love having a system builder/it specialist for a dad)

I wouldn't put 2 680s as an upgrade for 2 590s. 4 gf110 gpu's I think would be a bit ahead of 2 gk104 gpu's. Not by much, but I think they would.

MEEEEEEEEEEE!

Running 2 GTX 980's

sweet! which versions?

I'm using SLI Gigabyte 970s. Non G1s.

There are lots of pics ... In the show of your rig set, cant post them off my phone atm.

let's see that sexy rig when you get a chance! i'll be posting pictures of my rig when i get my oneplus one

I'm in 2x 970's and before that I ran 2x 760's

you are in!

Can I be an honorary member? I used to run SLI 460s.

I'm considering getting another 780 ti but there's a few issues keeping me from buying that second 780 ti...  :(

kick those issues in the balls and get another 780Ti!

still, honorary!

I want in. I'm running 2 GTX 980's in SLI reference cards. This is my first SLI configuration and I'm loving it.

SLI is freakin awesome! are you planning to get water blocks later?

Used to have to 8800 :/

still counts for honorary!

Rocking two 780s in my main rig and two 460s on my other pc.

nice :D

I used to run 2 590's at one time in the past (rip my old friends .... Rip) can't belive I just threw them out by accident :/

honorary membership for you sir!

Would it count if i Successfully Revived my 590 and Built a new rig with it?

yeah! get back here then and let me know!

Long time SLI'er here.

Started with evga gtx 280 x2.

Then Galaxy gtx 460 SC x2.

Then evga gtx 580 SSC x2. ( one blew and evga replaced it, put both in 2 different comps and have been running a single evga 770 sc in my current system )

In about 2 weeks I will be running SLI again. Currently building a new system which will have a build log soon (already up on jayztwocents.com).

you're in full time man! tell us when you get your next SLI system up and running!

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

It will be soon. My corsair 750d is in the shop getting custom painted and all the parts are at home while I am at Disney World for my son's 5th Bday. :)

Haha thanks.

What sucks is that I got the asus 780 ti and the only 780 tis are the evga ACX SC and reference SC which wouldn't match :/ Also I need a bigger psu and I'm running an matx board which would suffocate the cards... I totally wish I had built my computer differently

You can SLI an Asus 780 Ti and a evga 780 Ti. It will just go to the lowest clock speed.

For giggles and to satisfy my curiosity about the cards I bought a pair of 3GB GT 545's to use in SLI in my main system to see how they performed and to use them elsewhere when needed.
