Idle Temps

Hello~

I've just finished building my rig and my i5-3570k is 40c on idle temps with a h212evo, is it normal? Or is it too high, my room temperature is around 30c daily [ Life is hot :( ]

With that ambient temp, 40C is not to bad at all...

Yeah that's pretty fine, I have the same setup but with a i5 3570 which is pretty much the same thing and my cpu runs at 36c idle.

Good Morning...

40C is good its usually 23c in my room and my temps are around 39c so i would not worry about it.

Somewhat surprising to see it that low at idle when you have that sort of ambient temp :)

Only a 10C difference seems very surprising. I'm guessing your ambient is lower than 30C. Either way, your temps are fine.

That's good to hear :D, because previously i had a core2duo(No serious) that ran ice cold so i thought something was wrong with my installation of this.
