QUESTION 6 (resistance of materials)

In your own words, explain what is the yield strength of a material.

Before a material reaches it's yield strength it will go back to its original shape after bent or something like that, but after the yield point it will stay like that. :D

Idk if i pick the prize, but if this is right I would like the strife IGC

QUESTION 4 (Statistics)

A population of N cars of a particular manufacturer and model are sold. Each car's motor has a probability p of being still operational after X years of service. You conduct an investigation after X years where you track down n cars to note whether or not their motor is still operational. What statistical distribution best describe population N ?

Binomial Distribution

- Each mutual observation falls into one of two categories success or failure. In this case the motor is either operational or not operational.

- Same set probability p of motor still being operational after X years of service

- Assuming observations are independent

- Set number of Trials (n cars tested)
