To be fair, the sticker is advertising the 'eMachines Network' a $19.99/month dial up ISP which, after two years of membership, would then allow you to replace your computer for $99.  So it wasn't saying 'This particular piece of hardware is never obsolete' but more 'Get in our program and we'll keep you to date!'

 

But those stickers are faded so in the build log thread I'll be going over how I will take high res images of the old stickers, vectorize them in Adobe Illustrator, and get replacements professionally printed

I know that mercury thermometers are now phased out due to hazards of heavy metal toxicity but I still kept one from 15 years ago. I used it as a benchmark for accuracy and I gotta say the one I have is accurate.
