I started trying to sleep at around 10pm.

Didnt actually get to sleep until 2am.

4 awful hours with a massive fucking headache 

Needs money for car parts :P

Please... I'm getting my GCSE results in 6 days... and I need to arrange a Skype interview with an apprenticeship firm, because apparently phone interviews are outdated. When you're on Sky Broadband, you truly appreciate mobile phones and 4G...

And if I go with an apprenticeship, I may have to get up even earlier for 9 months...

Well, I was told earlier today that I basically need to shove all my boxes (full of tech stuff) into the loft, so my room looks "lived in" compared to a "tech storeroom". That also means no loud ProLiant, but possibly a good chance for advertisement XD.

All of this like 6 days before I get my results and basically tell my school "thanks but no thanks" to Sixth Form... "I need money."

Eventually, the stress will transform you into an insomniac like I am now. Being sleepy all the time is the new norm. At best, I get maybe 4 or 5 hours of sleep on a good night. Oftentimes, I simply ponder stuff.

When i was your age i was a huge night owl, even now I still am. But i wake at 5:30 everyday to go to work. But when i was your age if my schedule was out of whack, i would stay up as long as i could, longest was 2 days, go to bed at the closest i could to the appropriate time (9-10pm) and force myself to get up at at least 8am the next morning. I would still be exhausted so i'd do the same thing at 9 that night but was usually good by the next day.

I must say when I had my ankle surgery the pain I woke up to was probably far worse than the pain I had when I initially broke the ankle. Of course me being stubborn I didn't let them give me some kind of nerve block after my surgery. But I can't imagine needing an elbow or hand surgery could be much better.
